Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX
This place was awesome! Even if you're not a total geek couple as Mike and I are, there is just such a sense of history *and* destiny when you wander around these exhibits. When you learn that we went to the moon - and back! - using the computer equivalent of 2 modern-day digital cameras, how can that not inspire you??
Our visit to the JSC also marked the realization of our goal to see all 3 remaining Saturn V rockets. The first was at the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL; the second was at the Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, FL. These rockets are just HUGE and the power and force they produced is mind-boggling. But seeing that rocket was just one of the highlights of our visit (Mike & Sarah went back for a second day while I stayed home with a toothache). I hope you enjoy the pictures!
